At LIFT, we believe in the power of community, and few organizations embody this more than our friends at The Young and Brave Foundation out of Ventura, CA. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Young and Brave is dedicated to helping children and young adults navigate the unimaginable challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Built on a foundation of LOVE, they exist to inspire, encourage, inform, and invest directly in treatment and recovery.
When cancer strikes, it’s not just a medical battle—it’s an emotional, financial, and spiritual fight. Families are thrust into an overwhelming journey filled with treatments, bills, and uncertainty. This is where The Young and Brave Foundation steps in—offering more than just financial aid. They create a support system filled with hope, love, and a community that refuses to let anyone fight alone.
The WARRIOR Profile Project: Fighting Like Hell for Every Family
When one of their own faced a devastating cancer diagnosis, The Young and Brave team realized that families needed an easier way to fundraise, find support, and focus on healing. They couldn’t find a system that truly met those needs—so they built one.
Through their WARRIOR Profile Project, they offer a simple, transparent, and direct way for families to receive financial support. Once a family is accepted into the program, Young and Brave immediately goes into action—processing paperwork, launching fundraising campaigns, and providing essential emotional support. 100% of donations made through WARRIOR Profiles go directly to the individual or family fighting cancer.
And their impact is real. Since launching, they’ve raised over $1,000,000 for families facing cancer, an incredible milestone for an organization that started just a few years ago.
