The Young and Brave Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping today’s children and young adults overcome the challenges and hardships of a cancer diagnosis. Built on the foundation of LOVE, they exist to inspire, encourage, inform, as well as to invest directly into treatment and recovery. They do so through networking, community building, and streamlining the individual fundraising process.

Imagine you or a loved one has received the unthinkable diagnosis of cancer. You’ve been referred to the specialist who has developed the best plan of attack and your journey begins…This journey however is more than just medicine, it involves emotional support, LOVE, prayer, and at times monetary assistance. Cancer in every detail is an overwhelming experience, which is exactly why The Young and Brave created the WARRIOR Profile Project. A streamlined approach to fundraising was something they so desperately needed when one of their loved ones was faced with cancer a few years ago. They couldn’t find anything to fit their needs so they created it! 100% of all donations made through their WARRIOR Profile Project goes directly to each individual or family’s fight against cancer.

Their process is simple and transparent. The Young and Brave Foundation provides an easy way for families and loved ones to donate directly to their WARRIORS. Once The Young and Brave Foundation connect with a family the process starts immediately. They collect the necessary paperwork and do their due diligence. As paperwork is processed and the new family is accepted into the program, the Young and Brave Foundation goes into action. They fight like hell so not one person has to fight cancer alone. The only thing they ask of the families, individuals and WARRIORS is to help spread the word of LOVE and the work they do as a foundation. The more people that know about who they are and what they do, the more families they can help fight this disease. They recently broke through the $1,000,000 mark for funds raised, an amazing accomplishment considering they started this thing only 3 and a 1/2 years ago.

At LIFT we’ve had our own bouts with this disease. We are incredibly stoked to hook up with such an amazing organization and are raising awareness to help keep this community growing.
