At LIFT, we believe that the next generation holds the key to creating lasting change. How do we inspire young people to see the impact they can make, not just in their own community, but across the world? This question has driven us for years, leading to the creation of the LIFT Junior Board—a passionate group of high school and college students from Orange County, California, dedicated to making a global difference through our LIFT Global Initiative.
Through this initiative, we are proud to partner with Angel House, an organization committed to rescuing abandoned children from the streets of India and placing them in safe, loving homes. These children—many of whom would otherwise fall victim to child trafficking, forced labor, or life on the streets—are given not just shelter, but education, care, and the opportunity to become future leaders in their own communities.
Since 2011, Angel House has built 352 homes, saving more than 9,875 children. Each LIFT House takes 50 vulnerable children at a time off the streets, offering them a future filled with hope. With over 30 million orphans in India, the urgency is real. Our goal? To help Angel House reach its vision of rescuing 100,000 children in our lifetime.

In summer 2023, we opened our first LIFT House in Dabha, Nagpur City, Maharashtra, India—a safe haven for 50 boys. In March 2024, LIFT House II opened in Sakinetipalli, India, welcoming another 51 boys and girls. And we’re not stopping there:
- In 2025, we were able to open two houses, LIFT House III & IV, partnering with Oceans Church in Longman and Razole, India.
- Each home provides not only shelter, but education, clothing, school supplies, fresh water wells, mosquito nets, and playground equipment—giving these children the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.
But this initiative isn’t just about the children we rescue—it’s also about the future philanthropists we are shaping here at home. The LIFT Junior Board brings together young leaders from one of the wealthiest communities in the world and gives them the opportunity to see beyond privilege—to understand the power of generosity, kindness, and action. These students are fundraising, advocating, and leading the charge to create lasting global change. By opening their eyes to the needs of others, we are instilling in them a lifelong commitment to service—ensuring that philanthropy doesn’t just end with this generation, but continues for years to come.
When we lift others, we lift ourselves—and by transforming lives across the globe, we are creating a ripple effect that will inspire change for generations.
